    The Volvo Group today conducted its Ocean Summit on Marine Debris during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Newport, Rhode Island, raising awareness and educating more than 200 attendees about the growing environmental concern of marine debris. Along with the Volvo Group, the summit was sponsored by The Embassy of Sweden, the U.S. State Department, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sail Newport, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and operating affordable public sailing instruction and attracting new sailors to the sport.

Gilbane's CSU Maritime Academy Project Wins ENR Best Projects Award

Gilbane Building Company, a global leader in construction services, is happy to announce that the CSU Maritime Academy Physical Education and Aquatics Center has won the 2015 Best Projects Award from Engineering News-Record in the Sports/Entertainment category for the California region.  The panel of 11 industry judges reviewed and discussed nearly 120 projects located throughout California and Hawaii.
